During the spinning process, tracers are added to the raw material: viscose and ceramic tracer filaments that act like a unique fingerprint. The tracers reflect light and therefore have a unique, unalterable code. This allows us to unequivocally store in a blockchain all the information from the processes the yarn has been subjected to. Thanks to Aware™ tracer technology and associated blockchain platform, Kimood allows the end consumer to track the entire production process. This guarantees that the product is genuinely made from organic cotton, without any possible alteration during the process. A special label with a QR code allows access to the Aware™ platform and direct authentication of certifications simply by using any smartphone.
