Born to win the Western States 100 and developed with insights from our Craft Elite Team, this next-generation gravel supershoe builds on the success of the ultrafast Kype Pro road shoe. Powered by an advanced carbon-fiber plate and our two high-performance midsole materials Px™ Foam and Xx™ Foam, Kype Gravel delivers explosive propulsion and lasting comfort across mixed surfaces. Drawn from the Kype Pro, the innovative Grip Chamber System™ introduces a unique split-heel design for exceptional grip and control, complemented by the lightweight wrapped Vittoria outsole that ensures reliable traction on gravel and dirt. Finally, the ultra-thin yet durable upper minimizes weight without sacrificing protection, creating a glove-like fit that supports you mile after mile. In addition, raw and finished materials are completely reusable. The high-performance foam has an extremely low density making it up to 20% lighter than traditional EVA. The reduced weight combined with explosive rebound make Px Foam™ perfect for every run. Vittoria outsole inspired by Mezcal & Terreno Featuring a tread that’s spaced, shaped, and siped to bite on climbs, rocks and roots, this high-tech outer sole provides exceptional grip on challenging terrain and during high-speed descents. Developed in collaboration with world-class bicycle tire manufacturer Vittoria and inspired by the high-speed gravel tire Vittoria Mezcal & Terreno. Craft Endurance Fit® Craft Endurance Fit® features a narrow heel cup, mid-foot lock-in, and a spacious forefoot. Craft kommt aus Borås und gehört zur schwedischen New Wave Group. Ihren Anfang datiert die Marke auf 1973, als Gründer Anders Bengtsson in seinem ersten Craft-Baselayer zu einem Lauf aufbrach. Seitdem entwickelt Craft Sportkleidung, die bei jedem Wetter trocken hält und die Körpertemperatur reguliert. Ihr Wissen bezieht die Marke nach eigenen Angaben großenteils aus der Zusammenarbeit mit Spitzenathleten. Aus dem Büro gehen fast täglich mehrere Mitarbeitende laufen, Rad fahren oder bei passendem Wetter langlaufen und testen dabei neue Kollektionen selbst.
Für Vereine gibt es die eigene Linie Craft Teamwear. Sie ist auf eine ganze Saison ausgelegt, vom Training bei Regen und Kälte über das Aufwärmen bis zum Spieltag, und richtet sich an Mannschaften aller Leistungsklassen in nahezu allen Sportarten. Neben der Spielkleidung gehören warme Jacken für Aufwärmen, Ersatzbank und offizielle Anlässe dazu, ebenso Regenjacken fürs Training und Funktionsunterwäsche.
Unter dem Namen Craft Circle will die Marke bis 2030 ihre CO₂-Emissionen gegenüber 2021 halbieren. Ein Fünftel der Produkte soll dann über Kreislaufmodelle angeboten werden, etwa zur Miete oder zur Weitergabe an andere Sportler. Auf dem Weg dorthin reduziert Craft die Zahl der Produktionspartner und der eingesetzten Stoffe.
